SIX Main Areas of Living

In my 50 years of coaching hundreds/thousands of people on a personal level, I have learned there are SIX specific areas of our lives.  Leave any one of these areas unattended and the domino effect will cause grief to the others.  If you bring into balance all SIX areas of your life, you will experience the most peaceful, joyful and happiest time of your life.

  1. Finances and Wealth Mastery: Building Your Empire of Abundance.

  2. Fitness and Vital force: Sculpting Your Strongest Self.

  3. Family and Sacred Bonds: Nurturing Your Legacy of Love.

  4. Mental and Mind Alchemy: Transforming Thoughts into Power.

  5. Service and Purposeful Impact: Creating Ripples of Change.

  6. Spiritual and Soul alignment: Connecting to Your Highest Truth.

“All too often people blame their circumstances for what they are.  The people who get ahead in life are the people who get up and look around for the circumstances they want and if they can’t find them, they make them!”

George Bernard Shaw

Life is like an old-time rail journey

“Anyone who imagines that bliss in marriage, or in life is normal is going to waste a lot of time running around shouting that he has been robbed.

“The fact is most putts don’t drop. Most beef is tough. Most children grow up to be just people. Most successful marriages require a high degree of mutual toleration. Most jobs are more often dull than otherwise . . .

“Life is like an old-time rail journey—delays, sidetracks, smoke, dust, cinders and jolts, interspersed only occasionally by beautiful vistas and thrilling bursts of speed.

“The trick is to thank the Lord for letting you have the ride”

Gordon B. Hinkley, “Big Rock Candy Mountains,” Deseret News, 12 June 1973

Hard to Live A Balanced Life?

Hard to be open in a marriage and supporting one another, forgiving, being transparent with all your financially dealings and be on the same page as your spouse as you raise your children to be productive citizens.

Hard to lose a marriage due to issues over money, immorality, pride, or greed.

Hard to build a budget and track income/expenses so you can provide surplus savings enough to retire.

Hard NOT to control your spending and live with lots of credit card debt only to arrive at retirement age and not have adequate income.   Then without adequate savings to be forced to work for the rest of your life, or until your health fails.

Hard to consistently eat right and workout to keep fit.

Equally hard to be fat and physically unfit, immobile, have health issues, or incur high medical/dental costs.

Hard to stay knowledgeable on current affairs, read a book a month, always be learning new technologies and strengthening your intellect.

Hard when government officials surprise you with new taxes not of your choosing.  Hard not knowing about new technical advances that could make your life easier.

Hard to reach out and support your community in helpful ways paying back the many benefits you receive daily living where you do.

Hard to be in isolation and not be friendly, not willing to help your neighbor.

Hard to study the Bible/scriptures and learn how to remain humble and always be forgiving of loved ones and others that create conflict and contention in your life.

Hard to revile against criticism and the anger others show you, protecting your self-esteem.  Hard when you lose an argument.

Everything in life is hard, but the good thing is you get to choose your hard.
